Paying for College

Making an investment into your future

As you consider making the transition from a two-year associates degree to a four-year bachelors degree (or beyond), it's important that you recognize the long-term investment you are making in your future. Studies show that starting salaries on average rise significantly the further you complete in your academic career.

IUPUI's Office of Student Financial Services is here to help you fund your investment, either through a variety of scholarships or other forms of financial aid, including grants and loans.

Applying for financial aid

The first step in seeing what sort of financial aid you qualify for is to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. IUPUI's school code is 001813

The FAFSA is available beginning October 1, and will cover the entire academic year (Fall through Summer). It's always a good idea to submit your FAFSA early, to make sure you're considered for the maximum amount of aid.

If you currently have financial aid at Ivy Tech, and make sure to complete these critical steps to ensure a smooth transition to IUPUI.
